Bennet's 3rd Birthday

Dusty and I weren't able to make it to Bennet's birthday party so we took him out for a birthday lunch instead! We went to Chick-fil-a to eat and play in the play ground area. Then we ran by Target to buy Uncle Dusty some new shades...his broke on our way to pick Bennett up. I enjoyed it. I'm also not quite ready for 2 kids, even with Dad helping! No, the boys were not handfuls they were both very well behaved, just trying to get 2 moved around and taken care is not what I'm ready for. I definitely would have children too close together, that's for sure!

I could not get them to smile at all. But they were all smiles when the camera wasn't on them. Niran really likes the company in the backseat!

Welcome to the New Nephew

Dusty and I went up to meet our newest nephew a few hours after he was born. He is a very sweet and tiny baby...with very long feet! Congrats to McKay and Brandi!

Very Busy Time

I have been trying so hard to blog and keep up with everything and I am not succeding. There is so much for us to do to get Dusty ready to leave in a week and a half as well as packing for Niran and I to leave in two weeks. We have a going away shin-dig this weekend with friends and we'll be doing our family one in Globe next weekend. All of my paper projects are done for the time being (ie. cards). I'll be starting change of address and Christmas cards when I get to Reno. Maybe I can get my mom to make her cards this year as well! I am almost done with a quilt I am making for friends who are having their first! I should have that finished today! This quilt has been very stubborn in getting done, but I have kept at it. Niran is officially walking, but he still prefers to crawl. Walking seems to be that exciting ability he has, but it's not a mode of transportation yet. We have a new nephew and had took another one out for his birthday. Dusty had his 10-year high school reunion a couple of weekends ago as well. We have had successful garage sales and Craigslight sales. Of course most of this will be posted with more detail as I find the time. I hope everyone is doing well!!

Niran's New Best Friend

Meet Niran's New Best Friend:

Goofy

We went to the San Tan Mall to let Niran play in the kiddie play area and maybe find something nice to wear to Dusty's 10-year reunion. We decided to stop in The Disney Store to look around. Dad took Niran by the toys and got him Goofy and Mickey. He eventually tried to put Mickey back on a shelf, but not Goofy. He likes to take Goofy everywhere except to bed...go figure. He goes on all car rides and he'll even go in the store with us. It's so sweet to see him playing with Goofy in the backseat or giving him a big hug when he sees him or showing him to you when you ask where he is. They're perfect for each other...both very goofy!

Our Little Muscle Man

Niran enjoys pushing our bench and chairs from our dining room table around. Usually it's pretty easy for him until he reaches the edge of the carpet. At that point he usually has to give up and push them back to their starting locations because he cannot get it to move any further. With the bench, he finally hit the carpet and got it to flip over the other day and then he proceded to push it around the house. I got video of him at work.

Moving Sale 10/10 & 10/11

This was our official Moving Sale. No practice weekends, this was the real thing with a goal to get rid of anything we don't really want to keep. We had a bunch of furniture, clothes, books, games, decorations, etc. Lincoln, Melanie, and Kimball Hansen came over to drop some items off for us to try to sell and to hang out for a bit. They also walked away with a new couch and love seat, playmat for the babay, rollerblades, shirts, books, and probably some other items. They were our best customers. It was a great weekend for a sale. A little warmer than I would like, but not 100+.

I organized everything into categories! Organize and then organize again...that's how I set up for a moving sale!

Baby Steps

Niran is getting much better with walking. Every week he can go a few step further. His downfall is still is excitement. He does the best when he's calm and collected. As soon as he gets excited he face plants more often. Enjoy the video of his latest steps. We'll have to get a video of him walking when he's calm as well.
