He started with rice cereal, moved on to oatmeal and has now started carrots. All of which he has enjoyed. Everyone warned us he was just going to spit it right back out. He didn't which was a big surpirse. The biggest mess was mom missing his mouth and dripping down his chin. He gets upset too if he doesn't get his next bite fast enough. We still need to work on getting his mouth open wide enough. Sometimes he has it opened as wide as it goes, other's it's barely wide enough to get the spoon in let alone food on it. We're making our own baby food to save money. It isn't that hard to make, plus we can pick food we're already using for dinner. We'll you keep you updated with his favorites!

New Chapter: Solids
Niran has started solids. He's always very happy and very willing to eat from a spoon. Let's hope he stays like that.
(1-30-2009) I think he's more excited about Dad taking his picture than his first bite of rice cereal!
Mmmmm, this isdelicious, I'll feed myself!
(2-7-2009) I get to eat more food?!
Pretty good stuff mom!
(2-10-2009) Bring on the carrots, I'm ready!
