An Afternoon At The Pool

We decided to take Niran back to the pool. He loves the water and we knew we needed to get actual photos and videos of it, so here you are:

They have a little fountain area off to the side of the pool that Niran really enjoyed playing in. I feel bad because the ground seems rough, but he doesn't seem to mind.

Dodgeball Tourney #3

Big Red had another tournament in Phoenix June 13, 2009. They were supposed to play in a reccreational league, but they didn't get enough teams to have the tourney and instead the got bumped to the competitive league. Competitive league is definitely is what it is called...competitive.

Playing Around the House

Now that Niran is crawling and climbing on anything and everything around the house, it's fun to find him either playing quietly (usually a surprise) or getting into mischief.

Hmmm, what could be in the drawer? Answer: Nothing.

Mom, I want to play with the puppies! If he ever goes missing, the first place to look is where the puppies can be found. He chases them down if he hears them bark. And puppies happens to be his third word. He calls them "Puhs."

Niran likes to crawl underneath all sorts of things, including fitting his big ole noggin through his walker.

Engagement Photos

We had our engagement photos done last Wednesday. Uncle Ry-Ry and Aunt Jenn came down to help watch Niran. Actually it was Uncle Ry-Ry handing off screaming Baby Niran to Aunt Jenn. He did not get a very long afternoon nap and then being seperated from Mom and Dad was a little much for him. Flint Rogers, the photographer for the wedding, offered to let us have some family shots. He did really well with Niran. If you check out his blog you can see some of our photos. I think we chose the right photographer for the wedding.

Blog Going Private

Okay, we need to apologize for the difficulty in accessing our blog the last couple of days. For about a month or so Dusty and I have been debating as to whether or not we should make our blog private. My friend, Mauri had put a tracker on her blog to see who was viewing it. She found that there were a lot of people from all over viewing it and she chose to go private.

The reason it was blocked over the weekend was due to the fact that Dusty wanted to figure out how to make it private himself. I asked Mauri how she did it and Dusty went to look in to it. We had no idea it was done until Brandi made a comment about it today. Well, it's back to normal for the time being.

We will be making it private in the future, but we will give you warning about that, when the time comes.

Wedding Update

Completed Tasks:
Wedding venue chosen - Stonebridge Manor in Mesa, Arizona
Wedding gown purchased and alterations nearly complete. Final fitting is towards the end of June.
Tuxes picked out and waiting on "boys day out" for fitting.
Bridesmaids dresses purchased and sitting at my mom's house waiting for pickup.
Cake has been designed
Music has been chosen
Flowers have been ordered
Photographer is ready to take beautiful pictures
Delicious food is waiting to be consumed

Task To Be Completed:
Purchase Niran's Tux and reception outfit
Print program pages and put programs together
Purchase reception misc. items
Purchase Rehearsal Dinner needs
Put favors together...so close, so very close
Along with many, many other tidious tasks
Wedding Day itself!
